The 990v6, MADE in USA, fully embraces this mission by incorporating a range of performance-inspired upgrades. Unlike its predecessors, the upper does not feature a midfoot saddle, allowing the pigskin and synthetic overlays to seamlessly flow from heel to toe over the mesh underlay, resulting in a sleek and aerodynamic appearance. While the overall design represents a significant shift from previous models, the most notable improvement comes from within. Thanks to the addition of FuelCell midsole cushioning, the evolution of the 990 can both be seen and felt.
